Sitting here, in a puddle of sweat, after a day of temperatures above 40°C, I can't help but wonder what I'd give for a little cold right now. It doesn't even have to be anything extreme, just add a minus to that 40 and I'd be more than happy... Seriously, fuck summer.

I'll trade with you in a heartbeat. It's below feezing right now, colder than it's been in my lifetime(if I heard the watherman correctly). I can't fucking stand the cold. The only time I prefer the cold is for bedtime. I'd rather be cold so I can wrap myself in a comforter, than be sweating and not even be able to have a sheet on me.

I'd gladly trade you, it's been below 0°F here and I'm sick of it. Bring on the sunshine and warm weather.

40? Where are you? Summer has been amazing here in Sydney, today has been the first shitty day in a while.

Is he trying to troll us? :)

I'd trade everyone here. Either hot or cold, please, but not this rubbishy cold-and-rainy enough to be nasty, but not cold enough to snow.

104F? Welcome to Texas.

It's too hot to be trolling... or sleeping, for that matter. It's 1:22 am down here and temperatures are still hitting the 42 °C. I suppose the heat is kind of fun if there's air conditioning to hide under, but spending 24/7 soaked in sweat is just not for me...

Warm would be nice, to be honest, 10~15°C would be just about right right now, but not, it's 42. At night.

Southern Brazil, the land of extremes, apparently, During the winter, temperatures can go as low as -7 °C, and I've actually seen a couple feet of snow covering the streets twice already in my short 23 years of existence, but right now it's 42 celsius and I've no idea how I'm gonna sleep in a soaked bed.

Without air conditioning... :p It's not exactly easy sleeping like this.

Yeah that's pretty darn hot. Ideal for me is about 70°F which is about 21°C, too hot and too cold are both pretty annoying.

I actually dig the cold if it's not raining. Feels good being out in a chilly day then shaking out the cold once you get in. Plus, I can always throw a woolen poncho in a colder day, something which isn't possible in the heat...

The thing with cold, at least for me, is that I've grown used to being outside on the absolute worst, coldest days of the year because school and then because school in another town, so all I need is a good old pala, and I'm golden.
While the problem with heat is that there's a limit to how much clothes I can remove...

Apologies. I forget that the rest of the world isn't air conditioned like we are. 104F with no AC would be intolerable.

Well, there's AC on the car, maybe if I go sleep in there... Nah, I just had a much better idea.

I've always looked at it the other way. I find it harder to make myself warm than to cool off. Try a cold damp towel around your neck.

Trust all of us in the Polar region that once was Canada and the USA: You don't want -40 (I'm murican, I'm thinking Fahrenheit) I'd give anything to be in 104 degrees for one day right now.

40C at night? No. Thank. You.
Totally prefer the -15C daytime weather we currently have.

Ouch. Been there (albeit with one A/C unit in the living room...for a whole house), done that, no no no no no.

Yup, it sucks not being able to "turn off the heat" during the summer. Most cars in Brazil don't have any sort of central climate control, though some in the colder states have firepits to keep the living room warm during the winter. Still, nothing like what we see in american homes, with ventilation ducts and thermostats, and whatever else you guys use. (thanks TV)
Oh yeah, and during the winter... there's no central heating either, so being inside the house is pretty much the same as being outside, minus the wind. At least it's much easier to sleep when you can always throw extra covers on the bed.
